Code of Ethics - PATCHES AZ

PATCHES will consist of a group of rescues that come together under one facility to house and adopt their animals. Rescues are groups of individuals that have come together to form a rescue and save lives. Individuals are people from all walks of life that have a common interest in the well-being of animals. These individuals have a core set of beliefs. This might include political, religious or sexual orientation. We want to ensure that the facility will be a safe and positive place for both animals and humans equally.

  • We will promote the welfare and protection of all animals in the community.
  • We will ensure that all animals are provided with appropriate levels of care, which consist of a clean environment, water, nutrition and medical care.
  • We will teach each other continuously to bring the most modern ways of knowing how to handle animals.
  • We will agree to respect one another for what we do as each of the participating partners have a passion for animals and a mutual goal in saving lives.
  • We will ensure to talk positively of other groups or individuals.
  • We will refrain from negative talk of other groups or individuals.
  • We will agree to respect one another for what we do as each of the participating partners have a passion for animals and a mutual goal in saving lives.
  • Each group will have specific beliefs that are found in their group (i.e. one group may let a pregnant mother come to term with her litter, while another may abort with the belief that there is an overpopulation).
  • We will work collaboratively with all rescues within the communities.
  • We will agree to respect one another for what we do as each of the participating partners have a passion for animals and a mutual goal in saving lives.
  • PATCHES will have no comment on the belief value of a group nor their personal beliefs.
